About Sandy McCormack Accessories

Sandy started Sandy McCormack accessories in her little studio at her home in Kenilworth along with Christine Stuurman 12 years ago. A former Miss South Africa and an everlasting beauty, one might assume that these would feature in Sandy’s perception of success, but this is how she defines it. “I am successful if I have a happy and fulfilling relationship with my partner and a loving and firm connection with my son.” Sandy remarried in June 2007 and lives a very full and happy life in London.

Christine Stuurman, (31) the head designer, has been with Sandy since the earliest days of Sandy McCormack. She is gorgeous, very stylish and has an exceptional design flair. Christine can interpret any idea and often turns customer’s rather sketchy concepts into beautiful realities. She is a single mom to Queenie ( 12), who is at Wynberg Girls Prep School. Christine loves clothes, trends, music and laughing.

Thabisa Bolani
Thabisa Bolani is 30 years old and joined Sandy McCormack in 2003. She is the very capable manager of the studio, the production and is universally adored by our customers for her unfailing good humor and can-do attitude. Thabisa is married and has one son, Siphamandla, aged 14. She loves watching TV, music, shopping and eating (especially chicken).

The Team
Sipho Mahlangu, Frank Ndluvo and Frances Ndluvo make up the rest of the core team. All three guys are exceptionally talented craftsmen and can make any design that is required of them.
